The War After the Election will continue and must be won peacefully. But failure to convict Trump may be a blessing in disguise that causes us to deal with Trumpism more seriously.

A censure of Trump with real legislative teeth in it, perhaps with section 3 of the 14th Amendment attached to it (which would prevent him from running for office again) would only require a few of the seven Republicans who voted to convict regarding impeachment to agree to censure Trump in an effective, meaningful way.

This strategy is actually politically possible and I am continually updating it as events evolve in The War After the Election [https://medium.com/illumination-curated/the-war-after-the-election-545de96aa4ca?source=friends_link&sk=627c55d616d9296af3e398f1686493a4] and a short six paragraph link at the end of it which explains the very targeted, but critical legislation that could be attached to a censure.

This would also address what are the even more important underlying national security problems regarding the Capitol attack which haven’t been investigated, let alone resolved.

Keep your excellent articles coming – they are shedding much needed light on what Trump is doing. I hope our citizenry will ACT in order to avoid what you have been warning about.
