One of Senator Sanders’ issues isn’t on any ballot, but he supports it peripherally. The Pledge to Safeguard the Election (https://www.thepledge.site/pledge-to-safeguard-the-election) is similar to the Senator's support for Dan Coats’ proposal for a bipartisan commission to ensure the integrity of the election. It petitions electoral officials to abide by normal electoral and constitutional principles to prevent President Trump from illegitimately influencing the election or preventing a peaceful transfer of power (including through a state of emergency).
