As was said, complacency is not an option with a revolver with even a single bullet in the chamber. The “safety lock” is our electoral and constitutional processes. Vote intensely (i.e. compound the power of your vote by urging your friends to do the same).

But also guard against Trump abusing the powers of the presidency to remain in office after his defeat. There are all kinds of potentialities he could exploit to attempt to do this.
